Anatomy for Physiotherapists - NHS Lanarkshire & Anatomy@Edinburgh

Anatomy@Edinburgh recently collaborated with NHS Lanarkshire to deliver an anatomy training day for physiotherapists working in NHS Scotland.

The course provided both anatomical and surgical reviews of the upper and lower limbs using cadaveric material in a small group setting, with an emphasis on clinical correlation in the context of day-to-day physiotherapy practice. We are very grateful to Derek McMillan (Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner) for co-convening the course, and to Mr Martin Davison (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Trauma Lead), Mr Stephen Hannah (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Shoulder Specialist) and Prof Ros Miller (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Foot & Ankle Specialist) for their surgical expertise.
