Travel Abroad
There are some funds both within the University and externally that may help with the cost of travel abroad for work experience or research, where the experience is seen as beneficial for your studies.
There are also 2 funds available specifically for School of Biological Sciences students, the Davis Expedition Fund and the James Rennie Bequest.
Davis Expedition Fund
The Davis Fund is to finance purposeful biological fieldwork and expeditions only outside the British Isles.
James Rennie Bequest
The Bequest takes the form of a travel prize to be awarded to students who wish to travel to places outside the UK in connection with extracurricular studies in biology.
