Join  experts for a documentary film screening and panel discussion exploring mental health.

While the film explores the lived experience of hearing voices and other unusual sensory perceptions, their researchers discuss the history of mental health research and today’s cutting edge use of brain scans and genetics.

Discover how environmental risk factors, such as traumatic events interact with the genome and provide new promises for personalised medicine. Find out how people with lived experience of mental illness are informing and influencing future research. We then invite the audience to share their perspectives and engage in discussion with our panel.
