You are responsible for providing references in support of your application.
Appropriate people to provide your references would include your undergraduate tutor, director of studies or course organiser.
If it is a while since you graduated, or if you are applying for certain types of professional programmes, you should name one academic referee and one work-related referee, such as your line manager.
You can provide your references in one of the following ways:
You can upload your references with your online application.
You can provide us with the referees’ email addresses and we will send a request by email.
Please ensure that your referees are prepared and able to provide the references in the five working days following submission of your application.
If you have not uploaded your references with your application, you can upload them using your online University account.
You can post your references to the relevant College office. Please ensure that your full name and date of birth are clearly indicated on each reference.
