Santander Universities Brighter Futures Grants applications now open
The University has teamed up with Santander Universities to offer grants of £1,000 to Edinburgh students.
The Brighter Futures Grants Programme is back. There are 10 grants, each with a value of £1,000, on offer exclusively for University of Edinburgh students. Students can use the funds in any way they like to support their studies, from helping with living expenses or buying a new tablet or laptop.
How to apply
All University of Edinburgh students are eligible to apply, including undergraduates, postgraduates and those studying part-time and full-time. You don’t need to be a Santander customer.
Application process
To apply, you need to:
1. Register for Santander Open Academy (a free online learning platform), if you haven’t already.
2. Follow the verification link in your confirmation email.
3. Log in and choose ‘Get Started’ to complete your entry into the Brighter Futures Grants Programme. From the menu you will need to select ‘The University of Edinburgh’ from the list of participating universities.
Applications close at 11pm on 29 March 2024.
On the Santander Open Academy website, you can browse free on-demand learning content that can help support you in your studies as well as apply for several free learning programmes.
