If you would like to submit an article for Staff News, or have any comments about the site, please email the Editor.

Staff Bulletin Editor

Small ads cost £2.50 for a one-month booking. Only current members of staff and students are eligible to place ads.

Please include your department phone number or matriculation number in all correspondence.

To book: Email us your ad. Ads should be no longer than 40 words.

To pay: Post us a cheque, made payable to “The University of Edinburgh”.

Ads are accepted in good faith. Staff News cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies in submitted copy, or problems caused by any advert.

Staff News is published on an ongoing basis - please contact the Editor for information on scheduling and copy deadlines.

Any photographs submitted must have copyright granted. Please also supply any photographer credit, if required.

Please note that copy will be edited to comply with our editorial style guidelines.

Word counts for the following sections apply:

Main news stories, obituaries and notices of appointments, awards and retirements: 250 words maximum
Noticeboard: 100 words maximum
Small ads: 40 words maximum
