The way you book rooms is changing

The way you book rooms on the central system is changing for academic year 2024/25.

The previous booking system, Resource Booker, was due for renewal and is being replaced with a more user-friendly app, designed to make the process easier for staff.

Bookings for the rest of the current academic year

If you want to book a room to use between now and 21 July, please continue to use Resource Booker through MyEd.

 Bookings for 2024/25

If you want to book a room to use from 22 July onwards, you will need to use the new system, EventMAP Booker.

Bookings will open for some rooms from 20 March, when a link to the new system will be available on MyEd. Once timetabling requirements have been fulfilled, rooms with space will be added closer to the start of the academic year.

 Timetabler

A new system to support timetabling at the University is also being introduced, Timetabler.

If you are involved in planning the timetable for your School, you should have already have been sent information on how this change impacts you. If not, please speak to your line manager in the first instance.
