Principal to speak at Europe event

Professor Sir Timothy O’Shea will discuss Scotland’s place in Europe at a parliamentary event in Glasgow later this month.

Edinburgh’s Principal and Vice-Chancellor will speak at the public evidence session on 24 October, hosted by the Scottish Affairs Select Committee.

The event takes place in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall from 10:30-15:30.

It is free to attend, and tickets can be booked here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/scotlands-place-in-europe-join-us-for-an-in-depth-look-tickets-28362365599

Inform the debate

To help inform the Committee’s deliberations, written submissions are being accepted.

Because of the developing nature of the situation following the EU referendum, no deadline is being set for submissions. However, the earlier a submission is received the better it is able to inform the Committee's discussions.

Written submissions can be submitted here: http://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/scottish-affairs-committee/inquiries/parliament-2015/scotland-place-europe-16-17/
