Falling Walls Labs are international events where academics, entrepreneurs and professionals, aged 35 and under, have three minutes to present innovative ideas that could have a positive impact on society.

A jury of academics and business leaders will choose one of the 20 ideas presented at the Edinburgh event on 29 July to go through to the final in Berlin in November.

The Edinburgh finalist will also win a ticket to the Falling Walls Conference, where some of the world’s most prominent scientists will present their breakthrough research. Travel to Berlin and accommodation are included.
