Grade UE08: £45,585 to £54,395 Per Annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £48,350 to £59,421 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024).

Fixed Term Contract - Temporary.

Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.

The Opportunity:

The University of Edinburgh is looking for an enthusiastic, talented PET radiochemist to join Edinburgh Imaging’s state-of-the-art GMP facility as a Translational PET Radiochemist. This post will support the Scotland Total-body PET scanner facility hosted by Edinburgh Imaging and the post holder will play a key role in translating PET radiotracers into GMP compliant products.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and is based on the Little France campus in Edinburgh. 

Your skills and attributes for success:

• You have demonstrated experience in working in a facility manufacturing PET‑radiopharmaceuticals.
• You have a solid understanding of the GMP rules applicable to the manufacture of aseptic products.
• You have prior knowledge of working with short half-life isotopes.
