Professor Marc Dweck, will present his inaugural lecture on 11 April 2024 at the Edinburgh Science Festival

This year's Edinburgh's Science festival is due to kick-off in late March/early April. The University of Edinburgh will be holding a series of events at the festival, including  "The Professors Shaping the Future" series of lectures.

Professor Marc Dweck will present his inaugural lecture on Thursday 11 April 2024 at 5.00pm at the Playfair Library. Professor Dweck is the Chair of Clinical Cardiology at the University of Edinburgh, British Heart Foundation Senior Clinical Research Fellow and a consultant cardiologist at the University of Edinburgh. He is also the Vice President Elect of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging.

It is a free, ticketed event, with space for 200 people to attend.
