This month we meet three recent graduates of the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures.
Manon Haag
A graduate of our MSc in Film, Exhibition and Curation, Manon is the marketing coordinator of the Africa in Motion film festival.
The networks I built during my time at Edinburgh, and my volunteering, have proved crucial in finding jobs, allowing me to stay in Scotland.
Carolina Orloff
A Latin American Literature PhD graduate, Carolina is the co-founder of publishing house Charco Press.

Bruce Thomson
Having recently completed an MA (Hons) degree in Scandinavian Studies, Bruce has gone on to win an Emerging Translator Mentorship funded by the Royal Norwegian Embassy.
Edinburgh is only ever a stone’s throw from green hills or roaring bodies of water. As someone who loves spending time in the great outdoors, these natural features were essential to enjoying my time there.
The School
The School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures (LLC) is home to both traditional subjects such as English Literature, Celtic and Scottish Studies and European Language Studies as well as important emerging fields such as Islamic and Asian Studies.
