Career Mentors Needed
The Careers Service in partnership with Development and Alumni are developing an online careers mentoring platform for students and graduates that is due to launch in 2013.
The eMentoring platform will facilitate online communications with alumni to give students and graduates valuable insight into employment sectors, and help in career planning and decision making.
We need your help
We are now at the stage where we are looking to recruit a diverse team of alumni eMentors. Whether you are a lawyer, scientist, teacher, accountant, graphic designer, engineer, or IT consultant, we need your skills, knowledge and experience.
Supporting our students and graduates in their career decision making is very important to the University. We all appreciate how tough the current recruitment market is. Recent research, from High Fliers, reported companies receiving 52 applications per graduate vacancy.
We are developing the eMentoring platform to enable access to a rich knowledge resource and help ensure that Edinburgh graduates continue to stand out from the crowd.
