Student Systems

An introduction for staff to the work of the Student Systems department

Audience

This demonstration is aimed primarilty at staff who have recieved access to one of our systems for the first time. However, staff feedback at previous pilot session for this induction training has suggested that it would also be valuable to existing staff who may be interested in how Student Systems works.

Aim

The Student Systems department develops and supports the following University systems:

  • EUCLID
  • BI Suite (Student data reporting)
  • SMART
  • Path
  • PPMD (Postgraduate Progression Management Database)
  • EvaSys (Course evaluation software)

This induction course aims to provide staff with an overview of the work Student Systems undertakes to deliver and improve our systems and the service we provide in supporting the staff that use our systems.

This training is ideal for staff that want to get their bearings around the work they undertake using our systems, as well as providing sign posting for what further training is appropriate for them.
