Scotland’s most capped footballer - man or woman - Gemma Fay was first selected for her country when she was just 15 years old, and has now represented Scotland internationally on 155 occasions.

She is currently captain of the women’s national team and the first-choice goalkeeper.

Gemma has been a key figure in the on-field success of the national team, while in her capacity as ambassador for her sport, she is a positive role model and a driving force in helping to make women’s football one of the fastest growing team sports in the country.

She has enjoyed a distinguished club career at Premier League level in Scotland and England, representing Aberdeen, Ayr United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Hibernian, Leeds United and - currently - Celtic. To date, she has won two Scottish League titles and four Scottish League Cups.

Gemma Fay’s longevity as an international sports performer is testimony to her skill, fitness and drive, and she continues to serve as an inspiration within Scottish football.
