Sarah Struthers

Background

Sarah graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2015. In 2016, she joined Dr. Karen Schwean-Lardner’s research group and began her Master of Science in Animal Science, specializing in poultry management and welfare. Sarah successfully defended her MSc thesis in September 2018 and then worked as a research assistant until August 2019. She is currently undertaking a PhD in poultry genetics and welfare with Dr. Jeff Schoenebeck from Roslin and Dr. Vicky Sandilands from SRUC.
