Ros Craddock

Thesis title: General pedigree tracking of alleles causing hereditary disorders in dogs.

Background

Ros Craddock is a PhD student in the Highlander Lab, Roslin Institute, and the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Systems (GAAFS), University of Edinburgh. Her research aims to produce a general tool for the pedigree tracking of disease-causing alleles in dogs. Thus, in doing so, she hopes to positively impact future dog health, welfare, and breed conservation.

Before her PhD, Ros completed a BSc in Agricultural Science (Animal Science) at the GAAFS, University of Edinburgh. She was a founding member of the Food Security and Sustainability Society and maintained her committee role in Social Media throughout her studies.
