Background
I completed my undergraduate degree in Trinity College Dubin, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Genetics. Following this I worked at Illumina as a Research Associate within Product Development. I then briefly worked as a Research Assistant within Professor Greg Hannon's group at the CRUK Cambridge Institute before moving to Edinburgh to join the MRC's 4 year PhD programme at the Human Genetics Unit.
My PhD project is focusing on patterns of heritable mutations and how these can be used to understand developmental processes.
