Helen Fielding

Epidemiologist

Background

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2010, and completed a Junior Clinical Training Scholarship in Farm Animal Medicine 2010-2011. I then worked in mixed and small animal practice in Yorkshire and for MSD Animal Health as a technical veterinary advisor. In 2015, I started my PhD in Network epidemiology of cattle and cattle farms in Great Britain at the University of Exeter with Professor Robbie McDonald's research group (https://wildlifescience.org/).

Currently I am working with Professor Richard Mellanby and Professor Mark Bronsvoort on the impact of neutering on free-roaming dog populations in India in a collaboration with Worldwide Veterinary Services funded by the Dog's Trust.
