Background
Claudia received her veterinary degree from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna in 2014. She then completed a rotating internship in the equine hospital at the University of Liege, in Belgium, where she discovered her interest in diagnostic imaging. In 2015 she started working in an equine orthopaedic referral centre in Germany where she was mainly involved in the diagnostic imaging part. At the same time she started her thesis in the field of equine scintigraphy in cooperation with the Free University of Berlin that she finished successfully. In 2017 she started the combined equine imaging internship and diagnostic imaging residency at the University of Edinburgh.
