Biography

Background

Abahan Majumdar is a PhD candidate at the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Systems at the University of Edinburgh.

Abahan obtained his MSc in Climate Change and Development from the University of Reading, UK. Previously, he completed a BSc in Agriculture (honours) and an MS in Soil Science from the Bangladesh Agricultural University.

Abahan is a member of the Bangladesh Civil Service since 2008 and started his career with the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Ministry of Agriculture, Bangladesh. He has extensive experience in agricultural development project implementation in ecologically constrained areas of Bangladesh.
