Update: student complaints relating to staff conduct

The Student Complaints Relating to Staff Conduct Procedure has been updated to make it clearer and more supportive.

This procedure applies to both students and staff, and aims to provide clearer guidance and support on the complaints process. 

The updated procedure has been developed in collaboration with the Students' Association. The revisions: 

  • Enhance clarity and transparency about confidentiality. 
  • Ensure a clearer and more supportive complaints process. 
  • Signpost the emotional and procedural support available. 

The underpinning principles of this procedure remain the same. These include timely handling of complaints, parties being treated fairly and respectfully, and appropriate emphasis on confidentiality and wellbeing support.
