Covid-19 experiences to be documented

Staff and students are being asked to share how their lives have changed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The University’s Centre for Research Collections is actively collecting records to capture the impact the pandemic has had on the community.

Significant moment

The team aims to create a broad and representative picture of the University community’s experiences and response to the pandemic.

This initiative will be led by the University archives team supported by a collaborative advisory group with representation from the University’s communities.

Similar initiatives have been set up by the University of Cambridge and The Wellcome Collection.

The changes we are all experiencing are unprecedented and it is important that we catalogue these for future generations and future research. We understand it is a challenging period for everyone and we will be aware of the sensitivities while we engage with our communities.
