Student Opportunity Fund
The University has committed to spending the money not spent on salaries as a result of the 2018 UCU industrial action on the student experience.
This decision to spend this money on the student experience has been reached in close consultation with our own Students’ Association.
It will be used to increase investment in and expand our student hardship funds for both UK and international students; and to establish a new student opportunity fund, providing grants to support future learning opportunities for those students who have been particularly impacted by the industrial action.
