Rector Hustings

The Students’ Association is pleased to host a Rector Hustings where University staff and students can meet the Rector candidates and put their questions to them.

The event takes place in the Debating Hall, Teviot Row House, on Wednesday 14 February from 6-7.15pm.

Rector Hustings are free for all University staff and students to attend – just turn up!

Rector candidates

The candidates are: Ann Henderson and Marco Bauder.

The Rector presides at the University’s most powerful decision making body, Court, to ensure all voices are heard in making important decisions that affect staff and students.

Students and staff can have their say through deciding on, and voting for, the person they think would make the best Rector.

Voting takes place between 9am on Monday 26 February and 7pm on Tuesday 27 February.

You can submit your questions in advance to Questions@eusa.ed.ac.uk or ask them in person at the event.
