The contest challenges doctoral students to deliver an engaging presentation about their research in just three minutes.
The final takes place on 22 June 2018 from 2.00pm in Room G.07, Informatics Forum.
College finalists
Nine finalists from three Colleges will compete to deliver the best research presentation.
Owen James, Phoebe Kirkwood and Danielle Leighton are doctoral students in the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.
They will be joined by Warwick Wainwright, Gavin Woolman and Sorcha Gilroy from the College of Science and Engineering.
Fabio Battaglia, Katie McGoohan and Vivek Bhatt will represent the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Contest background
The 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition challenges doctoral researchers to deliver a research presentation in three minutes using only one slide. It is based on a concept developed by the University of Queensland.
The University of Edinburgh has run a 3MT competition every year since 2013.
