The service is to be called MediaHopper Replay.
More than 400 votes were cast throughout June, with Replay receiving 60 per cent of the vote.
Student satisfaction
The aim of the new service is to enhance student satisfaction with learning resources and academic support by recording lectures which can be accessed safely and securely via the University's VLEs.
Around 400 core teaching spaces will be equipped to support the service which will be made available on an opt-in basis.
It is being rolled out over three years and will be available in 114 core teaching spaces for the start of the 2017/18 academic year.
