New food options at King's Buildings House
Three new food outlets have opened at the University’s King’s Buildings campus.
The Tempo! deli opened on Wednesday 15 March, serving breakfast, brunch and lunch, including fresh coffee, sandwiches, salads, snacks and more.
The Nom Nom taco and noodle bars opened on Friday 17 March, offering students and staff the chance to experience cooked-from-scratch international flavours with a customisable menu that changes daily.
The Mayfield Bar & Grill has also been refurbished.
Student feedback
In March 2016, the University gathered feedback from more than 4,000 students at King’s Buildings on what food and drink they wanted to have available at King's Buildings House.
Following a £500,000 investment by the University into Edinburgh University Students’ Association facilities, the new outlets have been opened to reflect the feedback received.
Opening offers
Special opening offers are available from each new outlet between Monday 20 and Friday 24 March:
- Tempo!: Free hot drink when you buy any sandwich or baguette
- Nom Nom: Noodle or Taco meal deal for £4.50
- Mayfield Bar & Grill: Free choice of side when you order any main course
