The Drawn to Edinburgh exhibition runs from Friday 28 July to Monday 28 August.
The event is free and non-ticketed, and runs daily from 10am-9pm at the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
Exhibition theme
The theme of the event is a sense of place and what makes Edinburgh unique.
The first strand of the exhibition comprises a variety of styles and approaches to illustrating iconic buildings. These reflect the inspiration the city brings to young learners finding their place in their new home.
The second strand highlights the University’s unique collections, with drawings ranging from beautiful shells from the Galapagos Islands brought back by former Edinburgh student Charles Darwin, to the original Penicillin mould discovered by former Rector Alexander Fleming.
