University shortlisted for trio of awards
The University has been shortlisted for three Herald Higher Education Awards.
The awards recognise the outstanding achievements of colleges and universities in Scotland.
Shortlisted entries
The University’s International Student Advisory Service has been shortlisted in the Student Support Team category.
The Edinburgh Super-Resolution Imaging project, a collaboration with Heriot-Watt University, is a contender for the Research Project of the Year award.
The #LetsTalk – Mental Health and Wellbeing Awareness Week initiative has been shortlisted in the Campaign of the Year category.
Education awards
The awards, in association with the University of the West of Scotland, comprise 12 categories which look at how institutions develop innovative materials and methods in their teaching and research.
They help to build future excellence by facilitating the sharing of good practice, and help to raise the status of learning and teaching in Scottish higher education.
Awards ceremony
The winners will be announced at a gala awards evening on Thursday July 14 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow.
