Student to speak at Royal Institution
An Edinburgh student will talk about their work at a world-renowned scientific organisation in March 2017.
PhD student Maddie Long was invited to deliver a presentation at the Royal Institution after winning the People’s Choice Vote at the UK final of the Three Minute Thesis Competition in September 2016.
Maddie, who studies in the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences, will speak as part of an evening of talks about neuroscience on Monday 13 March 2017.
The event, entitled ‘Neuroscience in Society - the Young, the Old and the Ones in Between’, will highlight what neuroscience can tell us about our brains at every stage of our lives.
