Start-up contest open to business ideas

Do you have an innovative business idea that could become the University’s next big start-up success story?

The LAUNCH.ed Business Ideas Competition rewards early-stage businesses and social enterprises developed by students and recent graduates.

The competition deadline is Friday 25 November.

Business development

If you have a promising potential business or social enterprise, the competition provides a fantastic opportunity to find out if your idea has commercial viability, and to discover how you can make it a reality.

Ideas do not need to be fully developed at this stage, and entrants are not required to have a complete strategy to put the idea into practice.

Competition winners will be announced at the LAUNCH.ed Christmas Party in December. The winner will receive £200 in Amazon vouchers, and two runners-up will take home £50 in Amazon vouchers.

Student entrepreneurship

LAUNCH.ed is the University’s award-winning service for student entrepreneurs.

The service works with students and recent alumni to help them explore, launch and grow their business ideas.
