Short courses – April 2016
The University's next session of short courses start in April, and students can claim up to one-third off the cost.
Short courses are typically offered as short evening or daytime classes, held over 10 consecutive weeks.
They are a chance to develop knowledge and skills in a wide range of subject areas:

- Art History
- Creative Writing
- Film, Media and Contemporary Cultures
- History
- Languages
- Literature
- Music
- Personal Development
- Philosophy & Religion
- Psychology & Language Sciences
- Science & Nature
- Society & politics
Venues and booking
Many courses take place at Paterson’s Land on the Holyrood campus, and the University partners with the Filmhouse cinema, the National Museum of Scotland and other organisations and venues across the city.
Students can use their EASE login details to claim up to one-third off course fees when booking online.
