EUSA campaign wins education award

A mental health and wellbeing initiative led by EUSA has won a Herald Higher Education Award.

The awards recognise the outstanding achievements of colleges and universities in Scotland.

Awards success

The #LetsTalk – Mental Health and Wellbeing Awareness Week initiative won Campaign of the Year at an awards ceremony in Glasgow. The EUSA-led initiative was supported by the University and the Sports Union.

The Edinburgh Super-Resolution Imaging project, a collaboration with Heriot-Watt University, was also successful, receiving a commendation in the Research Project of the Year category.

Education awards

The Herald Higher Education Awards, in association with the University of the West of Scotland, comprise 12 categories which look at how institutions develop innovative materials and methods in their teaching and research.

They help to build future excellence by facilitating the sharing of good practice, and help to raise the status of learning and teaching in Scottish higher education.
