Tell us why Edinburgh is your perfect match

Complete the sentence “The University of Edinburgh is my perfect match because…” on film, for the chance to win one of 10 University goody bags and a Tesco gift voucher.

What do I need to do to enter?

Create a video of no more than 30 seconds completing the sentence: “The University of Edinburgh is my perfect match because…” You don’t need any specialist equipment, videos can be shot on your smartphone or tablet. If you would rather be filmed with a friend or in a group, that’s fine too.

Your entry could cover any aspect of your student experience, from your favourite course or lecturer, to societies, studying abroad, internships, or the city itself.

Submitting your clip

You will need to send us a link to your clip by using a file hosting service such as Dropbox. Email your link to us by 5pm on 10 November 2014. Please include your name, subject, and year of study with your submission.

What will happen to my clip?

Clips will be uploaded online to EUSA’s YouTube channel by early December 2014.

Winners and prizes

Send us your clip to be entered into a prize draw for one of ten University goody bags worth an estimated £100, including a classic unisex pullover hoodie and a £40 Tesco gift voucher. The winners will be contacted in late November 2014.

This competition is open to current University of Edinburgh students only. Competition entries can be submitted between 13 October 2014 and 10 November 2014. Entrants will be entered into a prize draw to win 1 of 10 University goody bags. Each University of Edinburgh goody bag contains items worth an estimated £100, including a classic unisex pullover hoodie and a £40 Tesco gift voucher. Group entrants will have to share the prize. The University reserves the right to refuse to upload any clips which are deemed unsuitable or inappropriate. This competition is only open to current University of Edinburgh students. Entrants can submit as many clips as they like. Prizes cannot be substituted for cash. Participants must be over 18 and based in the UK. By submitting a clip you are thereby granting the University of Edinburgh permission to use the footage.
