Launch of Employ.Ed on Campus 2014 Internships

The on-campus paid summer internship programme for 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students launches 7th February 2014.

The University is providing valuable work experience to our students over the summer vacation. An internship can help shape your future career plans and provide great experience to showcase on your CV and at future interviews.

I have gained an invaluable insight into a professional working environment, learning how to operate and communicate in different social contexts. I will definitely be seeking out a graduate job in the future that can offer me a similarly diverse challenge.

The internships are based in different departments and Schools across the campus and offer structured 8 to 12 week paid placements. Your pay will be based on an annualised salary of £15,815.

The Careers Service provides a programme of support for the internships to help you reflect on your key skills and identify development areas to ensure you get the most from the experience.

We are looking for motivated 2nd and 3rd year undergraduates who want to develop their career prospects. All internships will be open from 7th February on SAGE and the University job site. You will be able to apply for a maximum of three internships.

Closing date for applications is 5pm on 26th February 2014.
