Latin American Forum 2014

Students are invited to attend the third annual Latin American Forum at the Edinburgh University Business School on Tuesday 6th May. Guest speakers include some of the region's most recognized business, political and social leaders.

2014 theme

This year’s theme is ‘Latin America: A Region of Great Diversity’. The event will explore diversity in Latin America by discussing a variety of economic, political, and social topics ranging from the empowerment and economic integration of impoverished people to innovation and entrepreneurship.

Building on the success of previous years, the Forum has become a valuable platform that brings together delegates from a wide range of sectors and academic disciplines to discuss and evaluate the issues facing Latin America and its growing presence in the world.

  • Santiago Mosquera, General Director from Fitch Ratings
  • Juan Savino, Director of Research for Latin America Private Equity and Venture Capital Association

  • Marcus Reis, Dreyfus Commodities
  • Juan Santelices, Founder and Director of Fair Business Alliance Ltd

Event details and how to book

The event will take place from 9.30am - 4.45pm on Tuesday 6th May 2014, at the Business School in George Square. Tickets for students are available for £10. This includes access to all lectures and panel discussion, lunch and a wine reception.
