Inspiring Women Competition

If you have ever been inspired, enthused or supported by a woman affiliated with the University, now is your chance to celebrate them with our Inspiring Women photography competition.

As part of the University’ International Women’s Day celebrations, six leading photographers were comissioned to to take portraits of 40 female staff members from around the University. The main images are on display in the University’s Central Area from 8-31 March, with further archive images on display in the Visitor Centre near Bristo Square.

Our photography competition offers you a chance to be a part of this inspirational exhibition.

Tell us who inspires you

The women in the exhibition were chosen for their outstanding and visionary contributions to their departments and the University as a whole. To take part, simply take a photo of a woman associated with the University, whether staff, student or otherwise connected, who has similarly awed you - with their permission, of course.

Post your photo to our Facebook page along with 20 words or less on how they have inspired you before the 31st March for a chance to win.

Prizes

All of the images will become part of the archive of exhibition images. A winner will be chosen by the photographers who shot the exhibition and will win a £100 gift voucher for the Visitor Centre gift shop. Two runners-up will each win £50 gift vouchers.
