Submit your venture idea to Innovation Cup

The Innovation Cup is a business pitching competition for researchers, students, and graduates of the University of Edinburgh. It’s open to research or technology based business ideas or young business ventures.

Eligibility

Applicants must be University of Edinburgh PhD researchers, postdoctoral researchers, taught postgraduate students, final year undergraduate students, or alumni within two years of graduation.

How to apply

Prizes

The winner will receive £5000, and two runners-up £1000.

In addition, the winner and runners-up are invited to apply for the Acceleration Pipeline, a year-long award-winning business support programme for University of Edinburgh businesses with high-growth potential. Companies on the Acceleration Pipeline may apply for up to £5000 in addition business funding (conditions apply).
