Why complete a survey?
Your views are essential to help shape the way we do things now and in the future. Completing a survey gives you an opportunity to give vital feedback on what matters to you.
As well as this, everyone who completes a survey will be in with a chance of winning an iPad.
For every survey completed, the University will make a donation to academic societies (ESES) or Edinburgh Student Charities Appeal (NSS/PTES). Last year, the University gave over £3,600 to academic societies through ESES survey donations.
Which survey is for me?
- Edinburgh Student Experience Survey - for all undergraduates not in their final year
- National Student Survey - for all final year undergraduates
- Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey - for anyone on a taught postgraduate programme
How do we use the findings?
Information gathered from previous years’ surveys has led to:
- Improved assessment and feedback processes
- Establishment of award-winning peer support initiatives
- Major improvements to libraries and social spaces
