Innovative Learning Week runs from 17-21 February online and on campus.

Neuro Theatre: ‘live’ simulated brain surgery!

A live spectacle of simulated brain surgery performed by Edinburgh neurosurgeons: from injury to the operation itself. Audience participation will be encouraged! (Monday 17 February).

Legal Weapon: You v The Movies

Ever wanted to correct the law in movies? Now you can! Law students will work with ECA students to re-film key legal scenes from movies. (Starts Monday 17 February).

Strictly Come Drawing

‘Strictly Come Drawing’ will showcase tango, ballet, hip hop, burlesque and Chinese classical dancers as models for an innovative, hands-on and fun-filled drawing workshop which will explore movement, silhouette and drawing techniques. No experience required. (Monday 17 February).

Maths and Magic cabaret night

What has maths got to do with magic tricks? Find out in our interactive cabaret-style evening! No booking or maths brilliance required. (Tuesday 18 February)

Buggy Building and Racing Workshop

Explore low-carbon energy solutions based on hydrogen fuel cells with Arcola Energy. Build your own hydrogen-powered model car and race it round Bristo Square. Booking is required. (Tuesday 18 & Wednesday 19 February)
