Support Soweto Melodic Voices

Following a tremendous tour at Just Festival 2013, Soweto Melodic Voices, with the continued support of the University Chaplaincy, are fundraising hard to return to Edinburgh in August and further their community work in Soweto.

Soweto Melodic Voices are a young choir from South Africa. The choir members, aged 15-25 years, grew up amidst the poverty of Soweto and experienced first-hand hardships and bereavement through HIV/AIDS. Transcending these hardships through friendship, mutual support and shared joys of performing, the group raises funds for the prevention, treatment and orphans of HIV/AIDS.
