We know many people use their phones and tablets on the go. Mobile Learn gives you extra flexibility to check your courses wherever you are. The app gives you a cleaner, faster view of Learn courses, optimised for smaller touch screens on mobile devices.
How do I get the app?
The app is available for phones and tablets using Apple iOS 6+ or Android 2.3+ and can be downloaded from the appropriate app store for your device (e.g. iTunes or Google Play). Search for Blackboard Mobile.
Once downloaded, select The University of Edinburgh from a list of institutions and you will then be able to login using your EASE details.
What can I do on the app?
The Mobile Learn app provides easy access to your courses in Learn, on the go, on the bus, in the café, any time. Features include:
- Notifications
- Access to messages from your tutors
- Ability to take part in discussions
- Access to your grades
