The Hospitality Scheme matches students with hosts from Edinburgh and the surrounding area to help them settle into university life, learn more about Scotland and enhance their experience of studying abroad.
With an increasing number of students from overseas coming to the University, the International Office wants to expand the scheme and needs new hosts.
Your commitment as a host can be as simple as meeting for coffee once or twice or more involved by providing hospitality over the Christmas closure period.
In September more than 550 students applied to be part of the scheme.
Unfortunately, hosts were not found for all of them, with only around 70 students successfully matched with hosts.
More hosts are needed for another hospitality event at the beginning of Semester 2, as well as for the rest of the year.
