Nirmal is a very experienced Finance leader with recent positions at two Russell Group universities. He will take up the position on 4 November 2024.
The Director of Finance is a critically important role for the University and the interim role will ensure that our core strategic planning and operational activities in this area continue as we initiate a full recruitment process.
I am looking forward to helping the University at this key stage of transitioning from one permanent Director of Finance to another. Drawing on my extensive experience in the sector I also very much look forward to working with the University Executive, Finance and other colleagues providing both stability and insights to the benefit of the University.
