Senate Presentation on 9 February 2022: the Edinburgh Graduate Vision

All members of staff are warmly invited to the presentation and discussion section of Senate.

The meeting will open with updates from the Convener of Senate, Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Mathieson.

This will be followed by a presentation and discussion on 'the Edinburgh Graduate Vision'.

The Edinburgh Graduate Vision presentation and discussion

The Curriculum Transformation Programme will be launching its first major consultation exercise in early 2022 seeking to engage with our students, professional services and academic colleagues on the proposed vision for future University of Edinburgh graduates. Building upon the Programme’s engagement and awareness raising activity during 2021, staff and students will have the opportunity to help contribute to the ongoing shaping of the future Edinburgh Graduate Vision through a range of planned consultation events and activities running through the first quarter of the year.

In this Senate discussion, and in preparation for the launch of the consultation exercise, the Curriculum Programme Team will report on work that has been completed across 2021 contributing to the shaping of the proposed Graduate Vision and also take a look ahead at broader priorities and objectives for the Programme in the future.
