Staff invited to first Una Europa Staff Week
The first Una Europa Staff Week take place from 1-3 March 2021.
The University of Edinburgh is a proud member of Una Europa, an alliance of eight leading research universities with a mission to create a truly European inter-university environment.
In March 2021 the first Una Europa Staff Week will take place, which aims to bring together staff from the Una Europa Universities to exchange ideas and discuss recent developments, projects, and activities in Una Europa.
Details of the event
Date: 1-3 March 2021
The event will take place over three mornings and attendees will have the opportunity to gain insight into current developments, projects and activities in Una Europa.
The event programme includes various presentations and networking opportunities, as well as opportunity for collaboration as part of four key working groups. Target groups and core topics of these working groups are:
- Press and communication departments: Communicating Una Europa (Strategies, Target Groups, Collaborative Tools)
- International Offices, Centers for Continuing Education, HR/Personnel Development: Good practices on internationalization and training of professional staff at UNA partner universities
- Library management: The benefits and opportunities of Library collaboration with a focus on the Una Europa Future LibraryLab-initiative: towards a collaborative network of Una Europa university libraries & librarians
- Alumni Relations: Starting to build a Una Europa Alumni Network in Una Europa
All staff are invited to attend the event, and join the sessions of most interest, but event organisers would also like to specifically address the invitation to colleagues / experts / team or department leaders from these four fields.
