Changes to Conditions of Employment
Due to legislative changes effective from 6 April 2020, changes have been made to the University’s Conditions of Employment.

Summary of key changes
Enhanced rights to a written statement of terms and conditions of employment
From 6 April 2020, changes are required to the written statement of terms and conditions of employment, which are set out in the University’s Conditions of Employment documents.
Employees should receive this statement by day one of employment, rather than within two months. The statement now includes additional information on training, leave and benefits, place of work/working abroad, and collective agreements.
A document covering the terms and conditions relating to casual workers will also be available.
All changes have been discussed with the trade unions.
