University staff survey

The first ever University staff survey is now live.

We hope that as many of you as possible respond to this and give us your views – good or bad – about what it’s like to work for the University.

This is a great opportunity for staff to have their say, so please take 10 to 15 minutes to complete the survey and let us know your views on your experiences at the University.

The survey closes on Wednesday 3 October.

Completing the survey

You will either have been sent an email from ORC with a unique link to follow, or if you don’t use a University email you will have been sent a paper copy.

Please note that this is a legitimate email and the link to the survey in the email is approved for you to click on.

Deleted the email?

You can use the resend tool to be resent your link at any point during the survey period. It can be accessed at the following link: resend link

Alternatively, you can email the Helpdesk at UniversityofEdinburgh@orcsurvey.co.uk and they will resend the link.

Data analysis

The University is working with ORC International – who are highly regarded in the HE community – to collect and analyse the data.

By using an external company we can better protect and assure the anonymous nature of the survey.

Working with ORC also means we are partnering with world leading experts to draw on their knowledge in relation to questions, validity and approach.
