New voicemail system

As part of a project to modernise the University’s telephony systems, the voicemail system is set to be changed.

The new system will come into operation on Wednesday 1 February.

Voicemail set-up

In order to be ready for this change, all users are asked to dial in to the new system in advance of this date to set up their mailbox.

You can do this anytime from now onwards by dialling 507400 from your desk phone and following the instructions. When prompted for your PIN, enter your temporary PIN - 2222.

Please access the new system and set up your voicemail before 31 January 2017.

System switchover

Up until the close of business at 5pm on Tuesday 31 January, calls forwarded to voicemail will continue to go to the current system. From 1 February onwards they will go to the new system. 

It will not be possible to transfer messages from the old system to the new one, therefore the old system will be maintained for a period after 1 February to enable users to access and retrieve stored messages. In order to do this after this date you will need to dial 507400.
